MEET THE TEAM
We have a fantastic team here at Articul8, who are really passionate about fostering curiosity, creativity and confidence, and helping everyone reach their full potential.

Kelly Woods
With over 30 years' as a director, practitioner and teacher, and around 40 years (eek!) as a performer on stage, in film, and television, Kelly brings her skills and passion to every project and has stacks of enthusiasm and energy - fuelled by tea, and, very often, chocolate! Named Mama Kelly by the young people she works with because she is fiercly proud and protective of every one of them, and of their right to express themselves. Kelly is currently taking a sabbatical from teaching to train as a counsellor, and is loving the challenge!
Kelly formed Articul8 in 2014 and is excited to head up the wonderful Articul8 family. She is never happier than when she is somewhere near a stage (or a dog!).

Charlotte Tayler
I've been in the industry my whole life and cannot imagine being away from it. I love to sing & make music, as well as act - it's all about sharing stories with people. Some of my happiest moments are when a student just blossoms and finds the confidence to share their unique voice with the world!

Ashley Munson
Ashley first went on stage aged 7 as Gamin the Elf in a school play called “Kazango” and has been stubbornly refusing to get off since. He has played a variety of roles including Paul Floyd in Pink Floyd’s “The Wall”, Paul Bratter in Neil Simon’s “Barefoot in the Park” & Paul Peplow in David Hare’s “My Zinc Bed”, plus many roles not named Paul, including The Cat in the Hat in “Seussical: The Musical”, Lumière in “Disney’s Beauty & The Beast” and most recently Mr Maddens in Nativity! The Musical at Trinity Theatre.

Rachel Kerry
Rachel has been part of the team for nearly 10 years, and, after a brief period of further training, she is back, and raring to go!
Rachel trained at the Brit school and as part of her Degree spent time in Sri Lanka working with children with additional needs.
In addition to Drama Rachel also teaches Dance, and we are thrilled to have her back !

Lydia Scott Johnson
Lydia is a British director working across theatre, musical theatre and opera. She is an interdisciplinary director, with a strong musical background and many credits as a choreographer. Lydia trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and National Youth Theatre. She is currently working as associate director to Roxana Silbert on Anne Boleyn: The Musical.

Ian Tucker Bell
Ian trained in theatre at York St John University and has been a drama teacher for fifteen years. He is also a celebrant and a playwright, and regularly stages his work at the Edinburgh fringe,

Ela Law
Ela joined the Articul8 team in April and has proven to be a fantastic addition! When she isn't engaged in theatrical frolics she can be found strength training, hiking, lake swimming or samba drumming!

Luke Morrison
Luke is a director, writer and actor who trained at Rose Bruford in London. Since leaving drama school, Luke has found his passion for directing shows and teaching drama to groups of children and young people. Working alongside his theatre company, Luke has used his combined love of theatre and history to write a play that has been performed in London and Brighton. Luke is currently the Assistant Director for SpongeBob SquarePants the Musical at Trinity Theatre.
